- I bet someone esle has asked this but I didn't see it on
- here or USR's web page or the faq at
- http://www.wolfenet.com/wolfe/faq/288_modem_faq.htm
-
- I just upgraded a USR Sportster with the new 33.6 upgrade chip
- and got the new mdmusrsp.inf file off of their BBS (not the web the
- site, heard there were problems). Anyway, went to install the modem
- and all I had to choose from was a list of 28000 modems. Chose the
- USR 28000 external (because that's what the modem is). It accepted
- it and when I did a diagnostic on it the modem it did make mention of
- its 33600 speed.
-
- It this what's supposed to happen? Can you not get Win 95 to show
- that you have a 33600 modem?
-
- Anybody else have similar problems?
-
- Thanks.
